Tia Mazza began her career as a hat designer. Driven by word-of-mouth, the hats quickly became fashion favorites in New York stores, such as Barneys and Henri Bendel. Her first bridal veil and tiara were done as a favor to a friend, but now they have become permanent additions to the lines of several boutiques and national chains. Her designs have been featured on the covers of Brides and Town and Country and in leading fashion magazines. Despite the success, Tia still chooses to create each piece by hand so that it represents a personal statement both for her and for the bride that chooses her designs. Tia has studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology and taught at the Parsons School of Design.
