Carine's Bridal Atelier
Tia Mazza
Tia Mazza began designing for herself,
creating hats to match the antique dresses she favored.
Driven by word-of-mouth,
the hats quickly became fashion favorites in New York stores,
such as Barneys and Henri Bendel.
Within the year Tia's hats were featured in Vogue and Victoria.
Glamour and Harpers Bazaar soon followed in photographing her work for (covers and) articles.
Her first bridal veil and tiara were done as a favor to a friend,
but now they have become permanent additions to the lines of several boutiques and national chains.
Her designs have been featured on the covers of Brides and Town and Country and in leading fashion magazines.
Despite the success,
Tia still chooses to create each piece by hand so that it represents a personal statement both for her and for the bride that chooses her designs.
