Liancarlo has become known for the custom embroideries they create as well as the exquisite lace they include in each collection. This season was just as beautiful, filled with the unique details we love. In particular, the line offered guipure lace gowns, hand embroidered tulle, and structured tiered hemlines. Liancarlo also designs belts and antique crystal jewelry; many brides opt to play with their accessories in order to switch their bridal look. Below we’ve selected some examples of the trends we discussed as well as some accessories from the Liancarlo line.
We will be having a Liancarlo trunk show starting tomorrow and running January 29th-31st by appointment only, for availability please call 202 965-4696 or email email@example.com…

Something old is looking new again…and by something old I mean beautiful and classic. The 2014 bridal runways are showing timeless lace in new exciting looks for the spring bride.
Last week, Wall Street Journal Live’s, Paula Knight, discussed three of the season’s standouts that have taken lace to a new level. Monique Lhuillier’s Innocence, a short chantilly lace gown with caplet; very youthful and romantic feeling. We love the simple feel to Monique’s gown and the caplet that goes with it.
Carolina Herrera’s Ashley, a short 3/4 sleeved gown with lace detail and a bateau neckline is perfect for that spring time wedding. This short and charming gown gives a new age nod to Kate Middleton’s lovely long sleeved lace gown that will always have a place in our hearts.
What do you think about the new lace trends and hem lengths becoming shorter?
