Her bridal empire shows no signs of slowing down and we are so excited to be able to work alongside such a multifaceted designer. In honor of our Monique Lhuillier trunk show, starting tomorrow, we wanted to feature some of our favorite fine jewelry pieces from her collection with Blue Nile.

For years Kenneth Jay Lane has been synonymous with exquisite costume jewelry. Since starting his jewelry collection in the 1960s he has had the pleasure of adorning some of the most iconic women in the world. Jackie Onassis, Diana Vreeland and Audrey Hepburn have all been clients of Mr. Lane. After serving as Vogue’s Art Director, he began designing shoes, collaborating with the likes of Delman and Christian Dior, before launching his luxury costume jewelry collection.

CZ by Kenneth Jay Lane is the latest expansion of the designer. This collection features the quality and glamour Mr. Lane has become known for with a trendy twist. We are thrilled to have this amazing line of jewelry in our store!

I love this David Meister dress from Carine’s Bridal Atelier because it works so well for so many women. From a mother of the bride to a guest of the wedding or even a bride to be. The sheen of the fabric gives the dress an evening flair and is so unique in its texture. The cap sleeve and ruching at the side provides coverage and a flattering shape for more mature women while the gold hardware and cut out detail at the neckline puts a fun twist on the typical cocktail dress for a younger feel as well.

This dress should be paired with simple accessories since the fabric has so much life. I would wear a shoe with some metallic detail in a simple shape. For a more mature woman a lower heel and less shine tends to work better.

For a younger look a shoe with a simple shape still works but a higher heel makes more of a statement.
Earrings are all you need to top off this look. For a mother of the bride or mature guest I would go with a classic option like this glamourous stud.
For a bride or younger guest, something more linear and sassy is the best match.
