We are so excited to have the latest Berta collection in our store! The collection will only be in D.C. for three days this weekend and we cannot wait to share it with all of our brides. The Berta collection never disappoints and this season Berta took her signature seductively romantic look to the next level. What we loved most about the line was the versatility, from additional trains, to overskirts, and more, brides can create their own personal Berta bridal look. We put together some of our favorite gowns from the featured collection take a look…
Since our Monique Lhuillier trunk show is fast approaching we wanted to give our brides an in depth look at the latest collection. After starting her own line almost two decades ago Monique Lhuillier has become synonymous with bridal couture at its best, offering a unique creation for every type of bride. This season the designer created a collection so ethereal, it could have been a dream. Soft fabrics and mixed textures were everywhere ranging from gowns with lace accents, subtle embroidery, and illusion necklines. Some fabrics even had a tint of mint for a refreshing surprise. Let’s take a peek shall we?…

For her spring 2015 bridal collection Carolina Herrera featured several trends, all with the timeless flare and elegance she is known for. Ball gowns, plunging necklines, embroidered appliqué, and lace ruled the runways this season. Ms. Herrera definitely did not miss a beat, showcasing each trend in her own way. Brides can try on the latest styles from the designer at her trunk show starting tomorrow and running through Saturday, just call 202 965-4686 or email email@example.com for your appointment. Here are some of our favorite looks from her collection…
“Chloe” features an exaggerated ball gown shape with clean lines for a crisp and sophisticated aesthetic.
“Cassidy” features a plunging neckline and sleek skirt.
“Clementine” features embroidered appliqué. This fit to flare gown has a hint of sparkle for a soft yet glamourous look.
“Camelia” features a lace bateau neckline and romantic bridal feel.
“In today’s world of selfies and smartphone cameras, Rita Vinieris reflected on what life was like before cameras. She came across the process of photograms, the process of creating a photographic image without the use of a camera, resulting in a negative shadow image. Thus for her spring Rivini collection, she combined that idea along with 3-D printing to create beautiful dresses done in textural patterns and 3-D embroideries. A hand-beaded gown was worked in nude tulle layered over chiffon and silk charmeuse, its intricate beadwork creating a 3-D effect. A variety of dresses were also produced via 3-D printers, including a strapless gown in organza, tulle and leather.
In a humorous twist — and a smart marketing move — the models lined up at the end of the show and took Instagram selfies and photos of the front row.” – Women’s Wear Daily
